4 benefits of anger for your mental health

Anger is a state of commotion manifested through resentment, anger, or irritability. Although we live with the social account that it is not good to be angry, the truth is that well-channeled anger can help us manage stress and learn from ourselves.

It is strange to think of anger as something healthy, however, several studies that will see below affirm that this mood has many benefits, especially for mental health.

1. It can be a good trading strategy

Let's be clear, you can not get angry and expect people to grant you everything you want, so it does not work. But in those cases where irrefutable truth is on your side, anger can help you to stand firm and gain concessions.
This is based on a study conducted in Amsterdam, where it was concluded that angry subjects tend to get more concessions than quiet subjects.

2. Anger can help us know ourselves

As long as we have intelligence enough not to be carried away by a whirlwind of fury, anger can bring us some introspective dimension. Every time we see ourselves overwhelmed by rage we try to breathe ten seconds and wonder what we've done wrong to be so angry. I am not referring to the motive itself, but to why it has driven us mad.
You'd be surprised how much you can learn from yourself with this exercise.

3. Anger can help in a relationship

Hiding anger can be devastating for a relationship.
And this happens because anger is a reaction and a way of communicating an injustice. If we hide it, the other person will never know that he has done wrong, and this does not help the link at all. As long as it is justified, a well-managed expression of anger can help us find a solution and thus strengthen our relationship.

4. Anger is a motivational force

When we want something, anger makes us want it even more. Well directed, constructive anger can make you feel stronger and more confident to get what you want.
